From The Reverend Ruth Worsley Bishop of Taunton
'For many of us we have had to rethink our acts of Remembrance this Sunday. Whilst we are able to have small commemorations outside this week, many of us will be staying at home and marking the moment there, on our doorsteps, collectively if not together in person; lighting candles and remembering through liturgies online. Here is a link to the reflection we have shared on our diocesan website
May we encourage you with words from Isaiah 40 as we close…
‘Have you not known? Have you not heard?
The Lord is the everlasting God,
the Creator of the ends of the earth.
He does not faint or grow weary;
his understanding is unsearchable.
He gives power to the faint,
and strengthens the powerless.
