Vacancy for Full Time or PaRT Time Children’s Minister at Holy Trinity Combe Down, Bath

If you love Jesus, love his Word, and love working with children, this is an exciting opportunity for you!  HTCD  is a great family to be part of, with a close-knit Staff Team who genuinely enjoy working together in a supportive and fun environment. We currently have around 100 children (0-11s) registered with us, though on Sundays we would normally see around 40-50 across that age range. So this is a ministry which is set up, ready to run with, and well resourced.

We are offering either a full-time role or 3 days a week (Sundays non-negotiable!). We welcome applicants for either post. Do be in touch if you would like to discuss this further.

WHO YOU ARE

A growing Christian (Genuine Occupational Requirement), with a passion to see children nurtured in faith, and transformed by Jesus through the power of his Holy Spirit. Your character and faith are central to this role.

You will enjoy communicating with children and adults. You’ll be sufficiently organised to plan ahead, equip volunteers, and prepare material week by week. We also hope you’d be committed to joining our church family and worshiping with us.

YOUR ROLE

You will co-ordinate and resource the children’s work at Holy Trinity, support the growing work at our sister church, St. Andrew’s, and have freedom to develop new ideas for reaching and teaching children and their families.

Full time role (37.5 hours a week) Salary £25,000 - £28,000 depending on experience.

Part time role (22.5 hours a week). Salary pro-rata.

Both to include Sundays & staff meeting on Wednesday mornings.

Here is the full job description and the application form  .  For an informal discussion about this post contact Rev. Tim Lewis (01225 835835).  Applications should be sent electronically to the Operations Manager Liz Hume at opsmanager@htcd.church
