News From Evie on board OM Logos

I hope you are all well. It was so lovely to come back and visit you at the beginning of April. I really enjoyed the opportunity to share a little about my time onboard OM Logos and all the work it does for Mission around the world.

I have now been offered an exciting new opportunity to join the Line Up department. This role involves travelling ahead to different countries to organise events, church visits, and logistics in preparation for the ship’s arrival. It will also mean living in those countries for a few months at a time before Logos Hope arrives.

After much prayer and many conversations with family and friends, I have decided to accept this new role. As a result, I will now be extending my time onboard for another year and a half. I had originally planned to leave the ship in June 2026, but I will now remain until December 2027.

I am excited for what lies ahead and for the opportunity to continue trusting God for His provision through supporters and sponsors. I feel incredibly grateful to continue serving in this ministry and to be part of sharing the good news of Jesus with people around the world.

I will send regular newsletters to keep the church family updated on how God is using the ministry to reach people with the hope of the Gospel.

We have also just come to the end of a very different season onboard: dry dock. During this time, the ship is closed to the public while we work hard to clean, repair, and repaint different areas of the vessel. It has been a very physically demanding period, and many of us are quite tired. I would really appreciate your prayers for all the teams onboard as we transition back into normal operations and prepare to begin sailing again.

Thank you so much. You are all in my prayers, and I pray that God will richly bless each one of you.

With love, Evie
