We had a fantastic evening on Friday with a huge selection of pre-loved clothing on sale. There were a good number of customers including a number of visitors to the church. Each person was also given a goody bag with a future events, lavender bag, soap and bible verse card. There was a lovely atmosphere with many clothes sold and a little Prosecco drunk !
Including the silent auction we a raised just over £2,000 to support the work of Beliefin-action with Ukrainian refugees. In addition the unsold items will be sent to Atilla to sell in his shop to further support the work.
I am so grateful to my lovely team and all of you who donated clothes, lent us rails, racks and mirrors and to all who came along. Special thanks to the Meryon’s for letting us take over their home.
