Vacancy Senior Associate Minister St Andrews Community Church

Are you a pastoral leader with a passion for sharing all areas of community life?  Do you love working with and getting to know people. Are you passionate about building bridges both inside and outside the church?

 

The vibrant ‘Word and Spirit’ churches of Holy Trinity and St Andrew’s Community Church, in the parish of Combe Down on the beautiful southern edge of Bath, are seeking to appoint someone ordained in the Church of England or with comparable experience and training. The post is completely Parish-funded and is not a Diocesan role. 

 

The Role

Someone who will:

 

• Lead and grow St Andrew’s Community Church

• Work in expanding the many community outreach groups, to help people encounter the Good News of Jesus

• Build on the strong foundation of respect for the church in the local community and outside organisations

• Preach and teach the word of God in welcoming, intergenerational, and creative ways

The Person

You will have:

 

• A living, vibrant, bible-based faith.

• The skills to disciple, recognise gifts, encourage and train for all areas of church ministry

• Experience of working with the marginalized

• Ability to work well with others and be flexible with your time in what needs to happen.
