Senior Associate Minister for Growth

 

Would you like to work in benefice that includes both urban and rural churches?  Do you have a heart for evangelism and mission-based church leadership?  With worshiping communities approaching 500 we look to maintain an active outreach to the vulnerable and have a passion for enabling evangelism across our city. 

 

We are seeking someone who:

• would enjoy worshipping in and working alongside a large congregation

• likes to be visible, active and known in the community

• enjoys working collaboratively with others

• is keen to offer pastoral support

You will have:

• a passion to teach and enable others to grow the kingdom

• a proven ability to teach large or small groups

• a proven ability to work with the wider community

• a proven ability to manage staff

 

We can offer you:

• the enthusiastic support of a large, committed team of volunteers based in Combe Down, Bath

• the support of an experienced incumbent, two ordained ministers and a staff team of nine.

• the freedom to use your God-given skills across the wider Deanery of Bath

• a modern 4 bedroomed house in a lovely location on Mulberry Park, Combe Down.

• proximity to the world heritage city of Bath.  For further travel, it’s just 45 minutes to Bristol International Airport or 2 hours by train to London
