About the Event

From 8th-20th June 2025 singer-songwriter Gareth Davies-Jones walked (with a guitar and recording equipment on his back!) from Lindisfarne to Durham Cathedral via St Oswald’s Way and The Way of Light (Northern Saints Trail). The journey provided inspiration, stories, perspectives and soundscapes for a new album called “A Troubadour Journey”. Each night along the way he performed a series of concerts on the theme of pilgrimage to connect with local communities and explore ideas around journeying and passing through.

Tonight's concert comes part way through Gareth’s album recording process working with renowned producer and guitarist Graeme Duffin and is an opportunity to hear some of the new songs before they are released in Spring next year. The beautiful image is called "Echoes of The Past, Lindisfarne" by wonderfully talented artist Rebecca Vincent . Tickets are £12.50 via this link or £15 on the door.
