Combe Down Fest 2025

A weekend of 'just being Combe Down' on the Firs field. 

Food and Drink: Bar, Icecream, quality coffee and teas, soft drinks, cakes, hot dogs, pizzas. 

Stalls, exhibitions, music, crafts and lots of Combe Down community!

Saturday Afternoon:

12:00 - Dog Show Registration and Fest opening

13:00 - Dog Show

14:00 - Inter-street Tug of War

15:00 - Gymnastics Exhibition

15:45 - Kid's Rugby-related games

16:15 - Cake Competition, Auction and Raffle

17:00 - Candy Cannon Finale

Saturday Evening - Live Music and Bar:

19:00 - Fiddle & Strum

20:00 - The Lost Keys

Sunday Morning:

9:AM - Mini's Football Tournament

Join us for our Church on The Firs service in the park! All three of our services are being combined into one, starting with coffee around 10:20, for a service starting at 10:45AM. The service will be held in the marquee on Fir Field, followed by a community bring your own picnic. Come along!

If you're interested or able to help out on the day, we would be so appreciative! 

There are various volunteering jobs that are needed.. but none of them mean you’ll miss all the fun.

If you’d be happy to help with one of the jobs below or want to know what it entails, please let us know:

1.  Stewards - to be around on the Sat afternoon keeping an eye on things

2.  Generator monitors - to check and refuel

3.  Mini marquee team (to move, put up and dismantle a 10x4m Gala Tent)

4.  Main marquee helpers to assist Archers Marquees with the 24x9m big marquee

5.  Waste and recycling team - to ensure the event enables as much to be recycled as possible

6.  Tables and chairs movers - plenty to shift from the church rooms etc across to the main marquee   and back again

7.  Litter pickers - so we leave the beautiful Firs Field beautiful on Sunday afternoon.

8.  First Aiders - we need a couple of First Aiders - people who have done First Aid at Work (FAW) or Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) courses, who would be prepared to be present Saturday afternoon.
