Garden(ing) Party

For some time, we have tried to recruit a gardening team to care for the shrubbery in Holy Trinity gardens as we used to. However, this just doesn’t suit modern life - and we have had to rely on occasional help from Grow for Life. That help has now stopped as, quite rightly, they concentrate on their core customers - the elderly and vulnerable.  The weeds are of course very happy with this! With this event we hope that ‘many hands will make light work’ of a tidy-up of our shrubbery and that you will enjoy great company, fresh air and exercise.

So come along for just two hours on Saturday morning with your gardening gloves, trowel, secateurs and sturdy shoes to weed and prune together. We will supply green bins and green bags and have two experienced gardeners to identify the weeds!

All are welcome and we will be sharing a ‘spoonful of sugar’ in the form of yummy home baked cakes over coffee with others.

If it is raining we will reschedule to August 17th at the same time.
