About the Event

Position: CAP Debt Coach

This August the Bath CAP Debt Centre is relocating to Manvers Street Baptist Church in central Bath and Holy Trinity Combe Down are looking for a Debt Coach to join CAP Debt Centre Manager Amanda Wetton. The successful candidate will receive full training at CAP’s national headquarters.

The Job

As a debt coach you will know that what you do really matters. Each day you will talk to clients across Bath, helping them to create plans to get out of debt that are realistic and achievable. Taking time to listen, empathise, question and having a willingness to share the gospel will be essential to the work you will do. You'll be supported by experienced CAP Managers. Next Steps

Once we’ve received your application, we’ll read and process it within 48 hours.

If your application is suitable, we will invite you to an initial interview in Bath on Thursday the 18th July 2018 at Manvers Street Baptist Church. If successful you will then be interviewed by CAP representatives in Bristol on 9th October 2019. If successful, and you are happy to proceed, you will then be invited for training for the role of Debt Centre Coach. You will need to be available for these training session dates: 3rd – 5th November and 3rd – 5th December 2019.

The Package

One Year Contract with the possibility to extend (further funding is being actively sought).

Pay is £10.77 per hour (annual Salary £8,400)

15 hours a week, with at least one session being at same time as Amanda (Wednesdays or Thursdays).

An annual holiday entitlement is 33 days inc. recognised public holidays pro-rata.

As part of this role you must complete an application for an enhanced DBS disclosure (formally CRB).

Business use car insurance is a requirement;

A parking space at the CAP Debt Centre in Bath may be possible.
