Children’s Minister Claire Morrish and Families Minister Sharon Blair warmly welcome you and your family. Our vision is to support parents to raise Children to be Ready, Equipped and Willing for all that God has called them to be and do – CREW.

Proverbs 22:6 says; “Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it”.

We train and nurture each child through the Word and Spirit from an early age so they develop a deep relationship with God. We want each child to know their value in God, His love for them and to recognise and use the gifts and abilities that He has given them.  We have events for pre-school children and their parents on week days and our Sunday groups meet weekly. We also love to have fun; holding special events like seasonal parties and summer holiday clubs.

Sundays are a time when the children meet together to make friends, to worship, and to learn more about God. We have three groups that meet on a Sunday. Each group or CREW is named after a biblical character who was gracious, generous and missional.

Jonah's Crew

Jonah’s Crew meet in the Old Vestry – in the Church. This group is for very young children from babyhood until they feel ready to move up into Ruth’s Crew.

Ruth’s CREW has singing, crafts, bible stories, praise, games, parachute, playing and so much more! They meet in the Stobart Room in the Church Rooms (on the ground floor).  Children move up to Ruth’s Ruth’s Crew when they feel ready – about school age.

Peter’s CREW has worship, games, chats, outside play, making, creating, eating, and laughing. They meet in the Main Hall of the Church Rooms. Peter’s CREW is aimed at children from around 7-11 years old.  When they feel ready they move up to the Youth Groups – see our Youth pages for details.

In the Summer holidays, we run a children’s club. Each year we run a children’s holiday club during the summer holidays.  We aim to resource children with christian learning whilst they have fun.  Whilst there is a cost to parents we aim to keep this as low as we can.  Details for 2018 will be avaiable at the start of the summer term.

The childrens’ and families ministries work throughout the week to see the truth of Jesus, make an impact in the community and to develop community relations.
